Our Process
You don’t need to be a political insider to make an informed difference.
Greater Than brings together cohorts of 10-14 women who together learn about politics, explore the issues that matter to them, and put that knowledge into action. Over the course of the year, members meet regularly, research races, interview candidates, give collectively, and find other ways to support leaders who share their values.
Each cohort has its own conversations and priorities, but the goal is the same: to help every member leave the experience more knowledgeable, more confident, and more prepared to stay engaged.

Meet the Founders
Meredith and Margot founded Greater Than from a shared belief that people become more powerful when they have the knowledge, community, and confidence to act. Margot’s years in the U.S. Navy and federal government gave her a firsthand view of public service and the real-world impact of political leadership, while her work in equity and inclusion strengthened her commitment to expanding who gets seen, supported, and encouraged to lead. Meredith’s career as an educator and education leader has centered on helping people learn with purpose, build meaningful connections, and turn ideas into action. Together, they have created a community where women can engage in politics more deeply, support a broader range of progressive leaders, and make informed decisions about where their collective power can have the greatest impact.
