2020 Candidates

Joanna Cattanach

Joanna is running for the Texas House District 108 which represents the East Dallas area. As one Greater Than member put it, “Joanna is the real deal.” We were very impressed with the fluency with which she could talk about her district, the issues, and the flaws in her opponent. Not only that, but Joanna has an incredibly compelling backstory as a former foster care child who worked her way through the system to fight for vulnerable children and families.

Anton Andrew

Anton is running for Pennsylvania House District 160 which represents Delaware and Chester Counties right outside of Philadelphia. In short, Anton is going places. He knows policy, has a background in working in his community in various capacities, and is a respected community leader. Not only that, but his star shines bright. After talking with Anton, you just have this feeling that while there is not doubt that he’ll make change in the PA legislature, there may be even bigger political pursuits in his horizon.

Elizabeth Beck-2020_CandidatePics_GreaterThan.png

Elizabeth Beck

Elizabeth is running for Texas House District 97 which represents the Fort Worth area. After our interview with Elizabeth, we had no doubt in our minds that she will prioritize historically unheard and underrepresented communities. She is a veteran, lawyer, community leader, and single mom. She brings all of these identities with her to fight for the underdog and prioritize issues like access to affordable, quality healthcare and racial justice.

Felicia French-2020_CandidatePics_GreaterThan.png

Felicia French

Felicia is running for Arizona State Senate District 6 which represents Coconino, Yavapai, Navajo and Gila counties in the Flagstaff area. After reading Felicia’s submitted Greater Than questionnaire, several Greater Than members admitted to having a bit of a crush on Felicia. Her impressive background coupled with her humility and progressive values are a winning combination. She is an Afghan War veteran, pediatric and hospice nurse, community college educator, and single mom. Felicia’s top issues include education reform, affordable and accessible healthcare, and holding government accountable.
