Vision
Greater Than’s vision is to create communities of women who gather around shared progressive values and utilize their social and financial capital to support candidates who best represent their beliefs and ideals.
Approach
Greater Than provides a strategic approach to making election-changing investments in progressive candidates who will transform communities. We create cohorts of eight to 14 women who pool approximately two percent of their annual compensation over the course of one year to invest in state and local candidates. It is our intention that each of these cohorts will grow and evolve together each year, not only as a community, but as a pool of investors. We also believe that investing in state and local candidates will help build the next bench of national candidates that might not have made it over the finish line without our support.
